I got a call today on my cellular phone from the number 900142. There was a man with a heavy Indian accent who said he was from Microsoft. He stated that due to the number of infections in my computer, he was notified. He walked me through the various processes and showed me that there were approximately 7345 infections on my computer that were affecting its speed and processing. He then sent me to a run function in which he was able to virtually control my computer (and it stated I had approximately 5 critical hours remaining). He started typing on the Notepad all his information such as his id #, call back # and name (George Matthews). The phone got disconnected while he was typing, he typed he would call me back. He called me back from 661-748-0240. He asked me to verify my name, address, and email. Afterwards, he named three programs I would need that would prevent my system from crashing or having continual problems. He then said the software was free but I would pay for the licensing at $199. I told him I did not have $199 and he said he would talk to his supervisor. I told him I didnt have any income. He said, Fine let your computer crash. You have less than 5 hours remaining. And he hung up.

I have had 3 calls this week. No messages were left and when trying to return the call I was unable to do so. Yesterday I did answer out of curiosity. I am not sure what agency it was from as the caller was speaking so fast...but he did say I had been chosen for free money. He wanted to confirm my discover and or visa card. I told him I was not interested and to please take my number off their listing. He replied back with, everyone is interested in free money and then I hung up. Be very careful...this is dfefinately a scam.
